_I don�t have a background in sales but I understand the importance of building a client base. However, I was uneasy with the concept of �selling� and unsure as to how I could connect with prospective clients in a way that felt authentic for me, respected my client and generated work._ _ _ _Therefore, I was really honoured to be invited to attend Mike Adams� �Selling with Stories� workshop as it gave me a method of engaging with clients rather than �selling� to them._ _Mike encouraged us to develop a personal story and a corporate story that we could use with prospective clients. The emphasis was on _ _ Crafting a story that could engage our audience by making a personal connection with them. I really valued the opportunity to get feedback about my stories, and to learn about what worked and what didn't by listening to others._ _ _ _After working with Mike, I now feel I have the tools to refine the stories I have already developed, and to generate additional stories so I can engage more fully and genuinely with prospective clients.
