I have been involved in Sales Force Transformations for almost 15 years and this program is an absolute must for any sales professional, from people first starting to the most seasoned sales professionals. Story telling is such an important asset in today's selling environment whereby product differentiation is so small that the person that makes the difference is the seller in front of the customer. What better way to differentiate yourself and the company you represent by telling an engaging story that is different to the usual sales approach and at the conclusion of the story, gets the customer to open up about themselves. The design of the program ensured we had time to digest the theory and instantly apply it to our own situation. Mike gave us the opportunity to reflect on our own thinking, also to hear from others as to how they felt our story came across ad lastly, Mike would provide some expert advice and coaching. Other facilitators at times are quick to jump in to give their "view of the world", Mike ensured that this did not occur which built a great learning environment within the group and helped each of us learn from the group. The process itself is logical and straight forward which increases the likelihood of someone using it. It will help me formalise how I go about preparing stories and delivering them succinctly.
